Hello everyone. I suppose you are a bit surprised about this site. You are not wrong, I am really asking for help to achieve my dream car: the Audi Q7.

Who I am?

A young man, 21 years old and I live in Spain. Live in the Mediterranean coast. I study economics in the university.

I grew up without my father. He went to live in another country and now he has his own family, a new wife and a new son. My mother had to do the role of both parents since I was 3 years old.

The crisis affects too much in Spain. 11% of Spanish population and 20% in my province were fired and have no job. Prices are really high. The automobile sector is going down, already 40% this year, but I still cannot reach my dream car (the crisis always affects low quality products).

How did it all begin?

When I was a little boy, about six years old, my grandfather bought a car in Germany. It was an Audi 80. When I saw that car I was just impressed. Shortly after, my grandfather taught me to drive and he did it in his Audi. Obviously I was not capable to reach the pedals, but I could steer and feel the control of the car. So the first car I drove in my life was an Audi. After some years, when I reached a sufficient high, my grandfather taught me to control the pedals, so I started to drive his Audi without his help.

One day, while going home with my grandfather, grandmother and I, a car invaded our way and the result was a frontal awful crash. My grandfather, who was driving, lost his conscience, my granny broke her leg and I had a strong traumatism in my knee. Still today it hurts me when the weather is bad. But despite of all that, thanks to the Audi we were in, we are all alive. The car couldn’t be repaired, so my grandfather lost his car.

Now I am studying in the university. I hardly can pay it as I am just a poor guy who wants to do great things in life.

Recently, I saw the story of a designer, who now works in Audi Design Team, in Germany. His name is Jorge Diez and he designed the latest Audi TT. He got that job after winning a car design contest here, in Spain. Of course I was inspired by his story and started to work on it. I started to design cars days and late nights. My mother was upset with me because I did not spend too much time with her. After five months of work on the PC and about eight prototypes, I finally had the design completed. When the contest was open I sent it. A month later the magazine was published and my car was in it, among the best designs, but did not win the contest. I also was the youngest designer. Anyway, that will not stop me and I will try it every year.
